Take a day trip to Lundy Island aboard the Oldenburg from nearby Bideford which also offers a pannier and open air market. The regional centre of Barnstaple is a 15 minute drive and offers shops, pubs, cinema, bowling and theatre. Westward Ho! is a 15 minute walk and has breathtaking clifftop walks, pubs, shops, restaurants, tennis, riding and golf.
